From pre-Inca civilizations to Machu Picchu
Peru is home to many remnants of pre-Inca culture from north to south. We visit many provinces of the country to discover the richness of the Peruvian historical and cultural past. This impressive country whose history is often summed up in the Incas, the conquest of South America and Machu Picchu was populated by pre-Incas civilisations of more than 2700 years before our era as the cultures of Chavin but also Mochica, Lambayeque Huari or Nazca poorly known to the public.
Through these stays, we visit 6 departments out of 24 that contains Peru (La Libertad, Lambayeque, Cuzco, Puno, Arequipa, Ica). Peru has 2414km of coast and is like many countries of the South American continent it is crossed by the Cordillera of the Andes. This trip begins in Lima on the Pacific coast and for 21 days and 20 nights we discover this beautiful country that shares these borders with Ecuador, Brazil, Chile and Bolivia. Peru has an area of 1,285,216 km2 which offers us many landscapes composed of beaches, deserts, mountains, lakes and an impressive archaeological wealth dating back thousands of years.
