From the Caribbean to Lake Titicaca
This trip is dedicated to lovers of cultural and geographic contrasts and takes us on a total change of scenery from the blue waters of the Caribbean Sea to the green valley of Machu Picchu and ending on the Peruvian Altiplano on the shores of the Lake Titicaca.
From Bogota, we spend a few days in northern Colombia on the Caribbean coast where we can appreciate the warmth of the local population and discover this paradisiacal region full of historical and colonial places, national parks, beaches in a rhythmic atmosphere by champeta local music. From the capital, we will fly directly to the Caribbean coast in the north of the country to reach Riohacha on the east coast and then we follow the Caribbean Sea via Tayrona Park where we spend a few days before continuing our way to Santa Marta and reach Cartagena, its legendary ramparts and its tropical climate. Then in a few hours by plane via Bogota, we reach the Pacific coast and land in Lima the Peruvian Capital for a connection and continue towards Cuzco with its impressive site of the archaeological complex of Machu Picchu and the many sites that surround the city but also the essential Lake Titicaca and the floating islands Uros.
