Trekking in the Condoriri Group is a fantastic experience. You are surrounded by a multiple of peaks, amazing views, tranquil alpine meadows and beautiful Lagunas. Because the treks are in high altitude they are considered to be rather strenuous and a couple of days in La Paz or at the Lake Titicaca in order to acclimate is highly recommended. However, as an extension to the Boost circuit you will have gotten used to the altitude.

  • Day 1 – La Paz - Laguna Tuni - Laguna Chiar Khota (4670m/15.320ft)

We leave early from La Paz for the village Tuni from where our trek starts. First we hike parallel with the lake Tuni and thereafter we walk up a beautiful valley which brings us to the Laguna Chiar Khota. We have the view to the “head of the condor” (5648m/18.530ft), which is the highest peak in the Condoriri massive, to our left. Here we install our camp with tents and rest under the bright stars.

Day 2 – Laguna Chiar Khota - Santa Fe – Maria Lloco (4800m/15.750ft)

We leave the surroundings of the Condoriri and pass by numerous lakes that are the result of the melting glaciers from the surrounding summits. From the highland above the abandoned mine Santa Fe we have a wonderful view of the lakes. From here we walk down to the feet of the summits Imilla Apachita, Maria Lloco and Huayna Potosi, where our transport back to La Paz awaits.
